Grant of the Week: Canada-U.S. Fulbright Visiting Research Chairs

The Canada-U.S. Fulbright Visiting Research Chairs Program enables promising and prominent Canadian and American scholars, as well as experienced professionals to conduct research, develop collaborations, guest lecture and/or teach at select American and Canadian universities, respectively. To be eligible, applicants must have received a Ph.D. by December 31, 2007, or have equivalent professional experience. Chairs are awarded for periods ranging from one semester to a full year, and normally carry a value of US$25,000 for one semester. Visit the Canada-U.S. Fulbright Visiting Research Chairs Program page for an application, more details, and contact information. Deadline for American Scholars is August 1, 2007 for the 2008-09 competition (May 1 for York Distinguished Lecturing Award).
