The National Archives and Records Administration is seeking a new executive director of the National Historical Publications and Records Commission (NHPRC). The current director, Max J. Evans, is retiring at the end of this month. NHPRC “promotes the preservation and publication of American historical records by public and private institutions through its grants and educational programs.
