Summertime is when the AHA updates its annual Directory of History Departments, Historical Organizations, and Historians. We request the assistance of both individual members and history departments/organizations to help complete this task.
Individual members are requested to log in and review their membership information (affiliation, contact information, specializations, and privacy settings) by June 15, 2010, when we will be compiling this information for inclusion in the Directory. Requests for assistance should be made to the Membership Department.
History departments and historical organizations wanting to list in the Directory should log in here immediately to approve the user agreement and begin editing their entry. We cannot reserve space in the Directory for your department or organization without an approved user agreement. User names and passwords have been sent to institution contacts. If you need that information again, please contact Directory editors David Darlington and Liz Townsend at firstname.lastname@example.org as soon as possible. Changes made to Directory information by August 1, 2010 , will be included in the 36th annual print edition of the Directory, to be published in October 2010.
