Grant of the Week: NEH Digital Humanities Start-Up Grants

AHA Staff | Aug 13, 2010

The National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) invites applications to the Digital Humanities Start-Up Grants program. This program is designed to encourage innovations in the digital humanities. By awarding relatively small grants to support the planning stages, NEH aims to encourage the development of innovative projects that promise to benefit the humanities. There are two levels of grant funding: Level I grants range from $5,000 to $25,000, while Level II grants range from $25,001 to $50,000. For more information on what projects qualify and how to apply, see the Digital Humanities Start-Up Grants page. Deadline for submissions is October 5, 2010.
