The Virginia Foundation for the Humanities (VFH) offers residential fellowships to scholars and writers in the humanities. The Foundation seeks applications that are intellectually rigorous, imaginative, and accessible. All Fellows have University of Virginia faculty privileges while in residence, including access to all UVA research and recreational facilities, lectures and events, on-site library delivery, and faculty housing. The Foundation welcomes proposals on subjects of public interest in any area of the humanities and currently encourages proposals on literature, religious studies, and the history and culture of the South Atlantic region. For the 2012-13 academic year, the deadline is December 1, 2011. For more information, visit the fellowship program page and learn how to apply, or contact email@example.com.
