Today we are excited to introduce a new version of AHA Today. We’ve simplified the design to make it easier to discover and share content and to follow the topics you care about. Here are just a few new features of the site:

• Related tags. Find topics related to the article you are reading.
• Shortened URLs. Generate a bit.ly link and share an article without leaving the page.
• Social media streaming in the comments. See what readers are saying about the article you are reading in the comments. Want to contribute to the conversation? Either comment below or tweet us at @AHAHistorians.
• Follow an AHA Today blogger with our new author RSS feed and biography pages.

We also added the tagline “News, Community, and Historical Thinking.” The tagline underscores how we see the AHA Today blog fitting into the rapidly growing history blogosphere. While we often feature news in the discipline and higher education, we also want the AHA Today blog to be a community space for historians and history lovers to connect, discuss issues raised on the blog, and demonstrate the centrality of historical thinking in today’s world.
