Grant of the Week: OAH China Residency Program

AHA Staff | Oct 25, 2013

Thanks to a generous grant from the Ford Foundation, the Organization of American Historians and the American History Research Association of China (AHRAC) are pleased to announce the second of the inaugural series of teaching seminars in the People’s Republic of China.

Three week-long intensive seminars–preferably one on each of the three topics listed above–will be held in June 2014. The American Studies Center at Beijing Foreign Studies University will host this year’s seminars. Participants will be graduate students and faculty drawn from throughout China.

The OAH International Committee and AHRAC will select three scholars from the OAH applicants. Those selected to participate will receive round-trip economy airfare between the United States and China, as well as a modest per diem to cover living expenses.

Application deadline is November 1, 2013.
