Grant of the Week: Buffalo Bill Center of the West 2015 – 2016 Resident Fellowships

Jacob Ingram | Mar 27, 2015

Every week, AHA Today showcases a new grant, fellowship, or scholarship of interest to historians which has been posted to our free Calendar. We look for grants of potential interest to a wide range of scholars, but we also seek out grants for more specific fields. This week, we are featuring an opportunity for scholars of the history of the American West.

Call for Proposals: 2015 – 2016 Resident Fellowships

Overview

Buffalo Bill Center of the West (Center) in Cody, Wyoming, invites proposals for its 2015 – 2016 Resident Fellowship Program. Fellowships are intended to fund research advancing knowledge, understanding, and passion about the cultural and natural heritage of the American West and its global relevance. Fellows will be granted a stipend based on their submitted budget and the availability of funding, not to exceed $5,000. Note: While Fellowships generally are intended for individuals, the Center will consider group proposals from two or more individuals. If applying as a group, each member must submit the required application materials. If a Fellowship is awarded to a group, the maximum amount awarded will remain $5,000.
