Preregistration and Housing Deadlines Approaching for AHA17!

AHA Staff | Dec 9, 2016

Book Your Hotel
The deadline to reserve the AHA’s discounted conference hotel rooms is December 12. Rooms at the Sheraton Denver Downtown are still available, and attendees can use their Marriott rewards at this property.

Staying in the AHA’s housing block is a vital act of good citizenship. The AHA must fill a certain number of rooms to secure meeting space and other amenities, and fulfilling that obligation helps us offset some of the costs of organizing and holding the annual meeting. Furthermore, filling our room block consistently helps us secure favorable contracts for future meetings.

Register Now
Time is running out to register at the AHA annual meeting at discounted rates! The deadline for these reduced rates is December 16, 11:59 p.m. EST, so if you are planning to attend but have not yet registered, register now! After this date, you will still be able to register ahead of the meeting online, but the fees will increase to the onsite rates.

Bring Your Students
Don’t forget that AHA members can bring students to the annual meeting for an additional fee of only $10 for each K–12, undergraduate, and pre-candidacy graduate student. This exceptional offer provides your students with a fantastic opportunity to enhance their study of history. If you have already registered and would like to change your registration to a faculty/student group rate, call (508) 743-0510 or log on to the Registration Resource Center.
