Grant of the Week: Fellowship Competition for Research in India

Every week, AHA Today showcases a new grant, fellowship, or scholarship of interest to historians which has been posted to our free Calendar. This week we are featuring the  American Institute of Indian Studies fellowship competition for research in India. 

The American Institute of Indian Studies announces its 2017 fellowship competition, and invites applications from scholars who wish to conduct their research in India. Junior fellowships are awarded to PhD candidates to conduct research for their dissertations in India for up to 11 months. Senior fellowships are awarded to scholars who hold the PhD degree for up to nine months of research in India. The application deadline is July 1, 2017.
