Search committees and job candidates are already gearing up for the annual meeting. If you are a candidate on the job market, the news is generally good. We will have an exceptionally large number of job searches conducting interviews through the Job Register (more than 200) and a large number of search committees accepting c.v.’s on site (at least 67).
Job register interviews will be only a portion of the interviews conducted at the annual meeting, as many other search committees will be interviewing in private suites. We ask that all search committees let us know where their interviews will be conducted, since candidates will often come to the Job Register to double-check these locations. Search committees can fill out the “Non-Job Register Interview Location Form” and return it to the Job Register Information Booth in the foyer outside the Marriott’s Marquis Ballroom, or e-mail the information to Liz Townsend. We will then add your location to a scrolling database of locations that candidates can review. We make it clear that this information is to be used only by candidates who have scheduled appointments.

Visit the Job Register in Atlanta for changes to the handout as well as new positions and late-breaking announcements. Bulletin boards, along with the C.V. Collection Station, will be found in the Marriott’s Marquis Ballroom Salon I.
